General Conditions of Service - Scaligera Transfer

Guidelines for using the service

1. Pricing types.

For the services of rental with driver (NCC) not related to direct transfers, an hourly rate.
For direct suburban transfers (from one location to another), the fare is calculated based on the kilometric distance and, if applicable, any stops or waits.

2. External collaborators

Scaligera Transfer employs qualified collaborators, capable of providing service equal to or exceeding company standards. The company reserves the right to entrust the performance of the service to such employees, at its discretion.

3. Luggage

Each passenger is entitled to carry one standard suitcase. Any Additional or special luggage (e.g. ski equipment, walking aids, etc.) must be communicated at the time of booking. Otherwise, Scaligera Transfer does not guarantee the availability of suitable vehicles for transportation.

4. Punctuality and contingencies

Scaligera Transfer is committed to ensuring the punctuality of its own vehicles (or those of its employees) for all departures and arrivals. However, is not responsible for any delays caused by exceptional circumstances (e.g., traffic, accidents, public events, flight or train delays).

5. Insurance coverage

Passenger transportation is covered by an insurance policy with a maximum amount of € 50,000,000, taken out for the protection of the persons transported.
I personal property travel instead under the responsibility of the passenger, declaring ownership at the time of boarding. It is invited to Check the integrity and presence of one’s luggage at departure, as Scaligera Transfer is not liable for any lost or damaged.

6. Reports and complaints

Any inefficiencies or problems directly attributable to Scaligera Transfer must be reported within 7 days from the date of service, by e-mail or telephone. The company is committed to handling each report with the utmost care and finding a satisfactory solution as quickly as possible.

7. What is included in the rate

The rates include.:

Fuel
Highway tolls in Italy

The rates do not include:

VAT (10%)
Tolls for tunnels, ferries, LTZs.
Driver’s meals and overnight stays, if required
Highway tolls abroad

8. Validity and changes

All conditions are in accordance with current Italian regulations for the sale of services, to protect the customer and his property.
Scaligera Transfer reserves the right to modify at any time these conditions without prior notice, even partially.

User behavior during the NCC service

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, passengers are required to observe the following rules of conduct:

È forbidden:

Smoking inside the vehicle
Throwing objects out of windows, whether the vehicle is stationary or moving
Soiling, damaging or soiling the passenger compartment
Apply for the transportation of pets Without first notifying the renter and taking all safety measures
Soliciting behavior in violation of the Highway Code

Conditions of termination:

Without penalty: up to 48 hours before the start of the service
50% penalty: For cancellations received between 48 and 24 hours prior to the service
100% penalty: for cancellations communicated by 24 hours from the start

Flight delays or cancellations:

In case of delay of more than 30 minutes o cancelled flight, è mandatory to promptly notify the reservation number.
In the absence of communication, the availability of the vehicle is not guaranteed and will be charged a penalty of 100%.
